I'm BAAAAACK

After pining all fantasy "off season" about not starting Kurt Warner over Tony Romo and not starting the Tampa Bay DEF over the Minnesota DEF I have finally stepped into the world of fantasy sports again, this time with America's past time baseball. The last memory of the fantasy sports I had was a dismal, bleak one. I sat in an Applebees eating half prized appetizer's watching as the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings did battle. I needed a monster day from Adrian Peterson (Vikings) and the Vikings DEF, I got neither. At least I had some mozzarella sticks, well I did have them...a friend ate the last one.

It's safe to say that my fantasy luck has been cold since 2006 when I won the Brois Fantasy League's top prize, some cash and the year long bragging rights. Now I don't even have that. I have to once again prove myself in this mad, mad world of fantasy sports. To ease the pain I have jumped into three (3) fantasy leagues so far. All run by the smarty pants of Yahoo! The last time I played Fantasy Baseball I was bounced from the playoffs in a dismal matter as my opponent beat me by one category win. It was Walks and Hits Per Inning (WHIP) I was disgusted by this. After making a last second deal to send Carlos Zambrano off my team for Lance Berkman, I was outed hard. I lost in the first round.

But now I'm back. I've dusted myself off and I have a plan. From now on I am not someone to be messed with. I am a mad fantasy player and this...this is my diary.

First Draft: This coming Sunday, Feburary 24th 2008 @ 7:30 PM EST.
